Jeremiah 24:8-10

8But thus says the Lord: Like athe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat bZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who cdwell in the land of Egypt. 9I will make them da horror

Jeremiah 32:3-5

3For Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him, saying, “Why do you prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the Lord: kBehold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall capture it; 4 lZedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, mbut shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye. 5And nhe shall take Zedekiah to Babylon, and there he shall remain until I visit him, declares the Lord. oThough you fight against the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed’?”

Jeremiah 34:2-3

2“Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Go and speak to pZedekiah king of Judah and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: qBehold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire. 3 rYou shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. sYou shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’

Jeremiah 34:19-22

19the officials of Judah, the officials of Jerusalem, tthe eunuchs, the priests, and all the people of the land who passed between the parts of the calf. 20And I will give them into the hand of their enemies uand into the hand of those who seek their lives. vTheir dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth. 21And wZedekiah king of Judah and his officials I will give into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon xwhich has withdrawn from you. 22Behold, yI will command, declares the Lord, and will zbring them back to this city. aaAnd they will fight against it and take it and burn it with fire. abI will make the cities of Judah a desolation acwithout inhabitant.”

Jeremiah 38:3

3Thus says the Lord: adThis city shall surely be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon and be taken.”

Jeremiah 38:23

23All your wives and aeyour sons shall be led out to the Chaldeans, and you yourself shall not escape from their hand, but shall be seized by the king of Babylon, and this city shall be burned with fire.”

Jeremiah 39:3

3Then all afthe officials of the king of Babylon came agand sat in the middle gate: Nergal-sar-ezer of Samgar, Nebu-sar-sekim ahthe Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, with all the rest of the officers of the king of Babylon.

Jeremiah 39:5-7

5But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in aithe plains of Jericho. And when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, at ajRiblah, in the land of Hamath; akand he passed sentence on him. 6The king of Babylon alslaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at amRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon anslaughtered all the nobles of Judah. 7 aoHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 52:7-11

7Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled and went out from the city by night by the way of a gate between the two walls, by the king’s garden, and the Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the Arabah. 8But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 9Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him. 10The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at apRiblah. 11 aqHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison artill the day of his death.
