Jeremiah 24:8-10

8But thus says the Lord: Like athe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat bZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who cdwell in the land of Egypt. 9I will make them da horror

10And I will send jsword, famine, and pestilence upon them, until they shall be utterly destroyed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.”

Jeremiah 34:19-22

19the officials of Judah, the officials of Jerusalem, kthe eunuchs, the priests, and all the people of the land who passed between the parts of the calf. 20And I will give them into the hand of their enemies land into the hand of those who seek their lives. mTheir dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth. 21And nZedekiah king of Judah and his officials I will give into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon owhich has withdrawn from you. 22Behold, pI will command, declares the Lord, and will qbring them back to this city. rAnd they will fight against it and take it and burn it with fire. sI will make the cities of Judah a desolation twithout inhabitant.”

Jeremiah 37:17

17King Zedekiah sent for him and received him. The king questioned him usecretly in his house and said, “Is there any word from the Lord?” Jeremiah said, “There is.” Then he said, v“You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.”

Jeremiah 38:21-23

21But if you refuse to wsurrender, this is the vision which the Lord has shown to me: 22Behold, all the women left in the house of the king of Judah were being led out to the officials of the king of Babylon and were saying,

x“‘Your trusted friends have deceived you
and prevailed against you;
now that your feet are sunk in the mud,
they turn away from you.’
23All your wives and yyour sons shall be led out to the Chaldeans, and you yourself shall not escape from their hand, but shall be seized by the king of Babylon, and this city shall be burned with fire.”

Jeremiah 39:4-7

4When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled, going out of the city at night by way of the king’s garden through the gate between the two walls; and they went toward zthe Arabah. 5But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in aathe plains of Jericho. And when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, at abRiblah, in the land of Hamath; acand he passed sentence on him. 6The king of Babylon adslaughtered the sons of Zedekiah at aeRiblah before his eyes, and the king of Babylon afslaughtered all the nobles of Judah. 7 agHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 52:8-11

8But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. 9Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him. 10The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at ahRiblah. 11 aiHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison ajtill the day of his death.

Jeremiah 52:24-27

The People Exiled to Babylon

24And the captain of the guard took akSeraiah the chief priest, and alZephaniah the second priest and the three keepers of the threshold; 25and from the city he took an officer who had been in command of the men of war, and amseven men of the king’s council, who were found in the city; and the secretary of the commander of the army, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the midst of the city. 26And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at anRiblah. 27And the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death at aoRiblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was taken into exile out of its land.
