2 Thus the Lord said to me: ^a“Make yourself straps and ^byoke-bars, and put them on your neck.

Jeremiah 27:6-7

6 ^cNow I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, ^dmy servant, ^eand I have given him also the beasts of the field to serve him. 7 ^fAll the nations shall serve him and ^ghis son and ^hhis grandson, ⁱuntil the time of his own land comes. ^jThen many nations and great kings shall make him their slave.
