Jeremiah 27:5-7

5“It is I who aby my great power and my outstretched arm bhave made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, cand I give it to whomever it seems right to me. 6 dNow I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, emy servant, fand I have given him also the beasts of the field to serve him. 7 gAll the nations shall serve him and hhis son and ihis grandson, juntil the time of his own land comes. kThen many nations and great kings shall make him their slave.

Daniel 2:21

21 lHe changes times and seasons;
mhe removes kings and sets up kings;
nhe gives wisdom to the wise
oand knowledge to those who have understanding;

Daniel 4:25

25 pthat you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. You shall be made qto eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and rseven periods of time shall pass over you, till syou know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.

Daniel 4:32-35

32 tand you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. And you shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, uuntil you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.” 33Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. vHe was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws.

Nebuchadnezzar Restored

34 wAt the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and xmy reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored yhim who lives forever,

zfor his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
and aahis kingdom endures from generation to generation;
35 aball the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and ache does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
adand none can stay his hand
or aesay to him, “What have you done?”

Daniel 5:18-21

18O king, the afMost High God aggave ahNebuchadnezzar your father aikingship and greatness and glory and majesty. 19And because of the greatness that he gave him, ajall peoples, nations, and languages aktrembled and feared before him. Whom he would, he killed, and whom he would, he kept alive; whom he would, he raised up, and whom he would, he humbled. 20But alwhen his heart was lifted up and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, amhe was brought down from his kingly throne, and his glory was taken from him. 21 anHe was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, aountil he knew that the apMost High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will.
