5 “It is I who ^aby my great power and my outstretched arm ^bhave made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, ^cand I give it to whomever it seems right to me. 6 ^dNow I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, ^emy servant, ^fand I have given him also the beasts of the field to serve him. 7 ^gAll the nations shall serve him and ^hhis son and ⁱhis grandson, ^juntil the time of his own land comes. ^kThen many nations and great kings shall make him their slave.

8 “‘“But if any nation or kingdom will not serve this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, ^land put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation ^mwith the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, declares the Lord, until I have consumed it by his hand.

Daniel 4:17

You shall be made ^uto eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and ^vseven periods of time shall pass over you, till ^wyou know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.
