15 And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah, ^athe Lord has not sent you, ^band you have made this people trust in a lie. 16 Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, ^cbecause you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’”

17 In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.

Jeremiah 29:21

21 ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, ^dwho are prophesying a lie to you in my name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall strike them down before your eyes.

Jeremiah 29:32

32 therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I will punish ^eShemaiah of Nehelam and his descendants. He shall not have anyone living among this people, ^fand he shall not see the good that I will do to my people, declares the Lord, ^gfor he has spoken rebellion against the Lord.’”

Ezekiel 13:16

16 the prophets of Israel who prophesied concerning Jerusalem ^hand saw visions of peace for her, when there was no peace, declares the Lord God.

Ezekiel 13:22

22 ⁱBecause you have disheartened the righteous falsely, although I have not grieved him, and ^jyou have encouraged the wicked, that ^khe should not turn from his evil way to save his life,

Micah 3:5-7

5 Thus says the Lord concerning ^lthe prophets
who lead my people astray,
^mwho cry “Peace”
when they have something to eat,
but declare war against him
who puts nothing into their mouths.
6 Therefore ⁿit shall be night to you, without vision,
and darkness to you, without divination.
^oThe sun shall go down on the prophets,
and the day shall be black over them;
7 ^pthe seers shall be disgraced,
and the diviners put to shame;

for ^rthere is no answer from God.

Micah 3:11

11 ^sIts heads give judgment for a bribe;
^tits priests teach for a price;
^uits prophets practice divination for money;
^vyet they lean on the Lord and ^wsay,
“Is not the Lord in the midst of us?
^xNo disaster shall come upon us.”

Mark 13:22-23

22 ^yFor false christs and false prophets will arise and ^zperform signs and wonders, ^aato lead astray, if possible, ^abthe elect. 23 But ^acbe on guard; ^adI have told you all things beforehand.
