Jeremiah 28:15-17

15And Jeremiah the prophet said to the prophet Hananiah, “Listen, Hananiah, athe Lord has not sent you, band you have made this people trust in a lie. 16Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, cbecause you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’”

17In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.

Jeremiah 29:21-22

21Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, dwho are prophesying a lie to you in my name: Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall strike them down before your eyes. 22 eBecause of them fthis curse shall be used by all the exiles from Judah in Babylon: “The Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, gwhom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire,”

Jeremiah 29:32

32therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I will punish hShemaiah of Nehelam and his descendants. He shall not have anyone living among this people, iand he shall not see the good that I will do to my people, declares the Lord, jfor he has spoken rebellion against the Lord.’”

Acts 13:8-11

8But Elymas the kmagician (for that is the meaning of his name) lopposed them, seeking to turn mthe proconsul away from the faith. 9But Saul, who was also called Paul, nfilled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him 10and said, “You oson of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, full of all deceit and pvillainy, will you not stop qmaking crooked rthe straight paths of the Lord? 11And now, behold, sthe hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and unable to see the sun for a time.” Immediately mist and darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking tpeople to lead him by the hand.
