16 thus says the Lord concerning ^athe king who sits on the throne of David, and concerning all the people who dwell in this city, your kinsmen who did not go out with you into exile: 17 ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, behold, I am sending on them ^bsword, famine, and pestilence, and I will make them like ^cvile figs that are so rotten they cannot be eaten. 18 I will pursue them with ^dsword, famine, and pestilence, ^eand will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, ^fto be a curse, a terror, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations ^gwhere I have driven them, 19 because they did not pay attention to my words, declares the Lord, ^hthat I persistently sent to you by my servants the prophets, but you would not listen, declares the Lord.’

Ezekiel 9:10

10 As for me, ⁱmy eye will not spare, nor will I have pity; ^jI will bring their deeds upon their heads.”

Ezekiel 20:31

31 When you present your gifts and ^koffer up your children in fire, ^{▼▼Hebrew and make your children pass through the fire} you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. And ^mshall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? ⁿAs I live, declares the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

Ezekiel 20:38

38 ^oI will purge out the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against me. ^pI will bring them out of the land where they sojourn, ^qbut they shall not enter the land of Israel. ^rThen you will know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 22:31

31 Therefore ^sI have poured out my indignation upon them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have returned ^ttheir way upon their heads, declares the Lord God.”
