Jeremiah 3:20

20 ^aSurely, as a treacherous wife leaves her husband,
so have you been treacherous to me, O house of Israel,

Jeremiah 22:14-16

14 who says, ‘I will build myself a great house
with spacious upper rooms,’
who cuts out windows for it,
paneling it with cedar
and ^bpainting it with vermilion.
15 Do you think you are a king
because you compete in cedar?
Did not your father eat and drink
and ^cdo justice and righteousness?
^dThen it was well with him.
16 ^eHe judged the cause of the poor and needy;

Amos 3:15
