Jeremiah 3:8-11

8She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, aI had sent her away with ba decree of divorce. cYet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she too went dand played the whore. 9Because she took her whoredom lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with estone and tree. 10Yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to me fwith her whole heart, but in pretense, declares the Lord.”

11And the Lord said to me, gFaithless Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.

Ezekiel 16:51

51 hSamaria has not committed half your sins. You have committed more abominations than they, and ihave made your sisters appear righteous by all the abominations that you have committed.

Ezekiel 23:4

4Oholah was the name of the elder and Oholibah the name of her sister. jThey became mine, and they kbore sons and daughters. As for their names, Oholah is lSamaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 23:11

11 m“Her sister Oholibah saw this, and she became nmore corrupt than her sister
Hebrew  than she
in her lust and in her whoring, which was worse than that of her sister.

Ezekiel 23:31-33

31You have gone the way of your sister; ptherefore I will give qher cup into your hand. 32Thus says the Lord God:

“You shall drink your sister’s cup
that is deep and large;
you shall be laughed at and held in derision,
for it contains much;
33you will be filled with rdrunkenness and sorrow.
sA cup of horror and desolation,
the cup of tyour sister Samaria;

Micah 1:5

5All this is for uthe transgression of Jacob
and for the sins of the house of Israel.
vWhat is the transgression of Jacob?
Is it not wSamaria?
And what is xthe high place of Judah?
Is it not Jerusalem?
