8 She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, ^aI had sent her away with ^ba decree of divorce. ^cYet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she too went ^dand played the whore. 9 Because she took her whoredom lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with ^estone and tree. 10 Yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to me ^fwith her whole heart, but in pretense, declares the Lord.”

11 And the Lord said to me, ^g“Faithless Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.

Ezekiel 16:51

51 ^hSamaria has not committed half your sins. You have committed more abominations than they, and ⁱhave made your sisters appear righteous by all the abominations that you have committed.

Ezekiel 23:4

4 Oholah was the name of the elder and Oholibah the name of her sister. ^jThey became mine, and they ^kbore sons and daughters. As for their names, Oholah is ^lSamaria, and Oholibah is Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 23:11

11 ^m“Her sister Oholibah saw this, and she became ⁿmore corrupt than her sister ^{▼▼Hebrew than she} in her lust and in her whoring, which was worse than that of her sister.

Ezekiel 23:31-33

31 You have gone the way of your sister; ^ptherefore I will give ^qher cup into your hand. 32 Thus says the Lord God:

“You shall drink your sister’s cup
that is deep and large;
you shall be laughed at and held in derision,
for it contains much;
33 you will be filled with ^rdrunkenness and sorrow.

the cup of ^tyour sister Samaria;

Micah 1:5

5 All this is for ^uthe transgression of Jacob
and for the sins of the house of Israel.
^vWhat is the transgression of Jacob?
Is it not ^wSamaria?
And what is ^xthe high place of Judah?
Is it not Jerusalem?
