Jeremiah 30:11

11 aFor I am with you to save you,

declares the Lord;
bI will make a full end of all the nations
among whom I scattered you,
but of you I will not make a full end.
cI will ddiscipline you in just measure,
and I will by no means leave you unpunished.

Jeremiah 31:1-3

The Lord Will Turn Mourning to Joy

1 e“At that time, declares the Lord, fI will be the God of all the clans of Israel, and they shall be my people.”

2 Thus says the Lord:
“The people who survived the sword
found grace in the wilderness;
gwhen Israel sought for rest,
3the Lord appeared to him
Septuagint; Hebrew me
from far away.
iI have loved you with an everlasting love;
therefore jI have continued kmy faithfulness to you.

Ezekiel 20:8-9

8 lBut they rebelled against me and were not willing to listen to me. mNone of them cast away the detestable things their eyes feasted on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt.

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them nand spend my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
9 oBut I acted pfor the sake of my name, qthat it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they lived, rin whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel 20:13-14

13 sBut the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. tThey did not walk in my statutes but rejected my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; uand my Sabbaths they greatly profaned.

v“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them in the wilderness, to make a full end of them.
14But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, win whose sight I had brought them out.
