1Then he showed me eJoshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and fSatan

standing at his right hand to accuse him.
2And the Lord said to Satan, h“The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has ichosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this ja brand
That is,  a burning stick
plucked from the fire?”
3Now lJoshua was standing before the angel, mclothed with filthy garments. 4And the angel said to nthose who were standing before him, oRemove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, pI have taken your iniquity away from you, and qI will clothe you with pure vestments.” 5And I said, r“Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord was standing by.

A Kingdom That Cannot Be Shaken

18For you have not come to ywhat may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest 19and zthe sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words aamade the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them. 20For they could not endure the order that was given, ab“If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.” 21Indeed, acso terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I tremble with fear.” 22But you have come to adMount Zion and to the city of the living God, aethe heavenly Jerusalem, and to afinnumerable angels in festal gathering, 23and to agthe assembly
Or church
of the firstborn who are aienrolled in heaven, and to ajGod, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
24and to Jesus, akthe mediator of a new covenant, and to althe sprinkled blood amthat speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
