15 Alas for the day!
eFor the day of the Lord is near,
and as destruction from the Almighty
 Destruction sounds like the Hebrew for  Almighty
it comes.

Amos 5:16

16Therefore thus says the Lord, gthe God of hosts, the Lord:

“In all the squares hthere shall be wailing,
and in all the streets they shall say, ‘Alas! Alas!’
They shall call the farmers to mourning
and ito wailing those who are skilled in lamentation,

Revelation of John 18:10

10 jThey will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say,

Alas! Alas! kYou great city,
you mighty city, Babylon!
For lin a single hour your judgment has come.”

grew rich by her wealth!
