The New Covenant
31 a“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make ba new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,Jeremiah 31:33-34
33 cFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: dI will put my law within them, and I will write it eon their hearts. fAnd I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ gfor they shall all know me, hfrom the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For iI will forgive their iniquity, and jI will remember their sin no more.”Ezekiel 36:25-27
25 kI will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from lall your uncleannesses, and mfrom all your idols nI will cleanse you. 26And I will give you oa new heart, and pa new spirit I will put within you. qAnd I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 rAnd I will put my Spirit within you, sand cause you to walk in my statutes and tbe careful to obey my rules. ▼▼Or my just decrees
