Jeremiah 31:38-40

38 aBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when the city shall be rebuilt for the Lord bfrom the Tower of Hananel to cthe Corner Gate. 39 dAnd the measuring line shall go out farther, straight to the hill Gareb, and shall then turn to Goah. 40 eThe whole valley of the dead bodies and the ashes, and all the fields as far as the fbrook Kidron, to the corner of gthe Horse Gate toward the east, hshall be sacred to the Lord. iIt shall not be plucked up or overthrown anymore forever.”

Jeremiah 33:10-13

10Thus says the Lord: In this place jof which you say, ‘It is a waste without man or beast,’ in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man or inhabitant or beast, there shall be heard again 11 kthe voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring lthank offerings to the house of the Lord:

m“‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts,
for the Lord is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!’
nFor I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.

12Thus says the Lord of hosts: oIn this place that is waste, without man or beast, and in all of its cities, there shall again be phabitations of shepherds qresting their flocks. 13 rIn the cities of the hill country, sin the cities of the Shephelah, tand in the cities of the Negeb, in the land of Benjamin, uthe places about Jerusalem, vand in the cities of Judah, wflocks shall again pass under the hands xof the one who counts them, says the Lord.

Ezekiel 36:10-11

10And yI will multiply people on you, the whole house of Israel, all of it. zThe cities shall be inhabited and the waste places rebuilt. 11And I will multiply on you aaman and beast, and abthey shall multiply and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited as in acyour former times, and adwill do more good to you than ever before. aeThen you will know that I am the Lord.

Micah 7:11

11 afA day for the building of your walls!
In that day the boundary shall be far extended.
