Jeremiah 32:4-5

4 ^aZedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, ^bbut shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye. 5 And ^che shall take Zedekiah to Babylon, and there he shall remain until I visit him, declares the Lord. ^dThough you fight against the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed’?”

Jeremiah 34:3

3 ^eYou shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. ^fYou shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’

Ezekiel 12:13-16

13 ^gAnd I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And ^hI will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, ⁱyet he shall not see it, and he shall die there. 14 ^jAnd I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him, his helpers and all his troops, ^kand I will unsheathe the sword after them. 15 ^lAnd they shall know that I am the Lord, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them among the countries. 16 ^mBut I will let a few of them escape from the sword, from famine and pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they go, ⁿand may know that I am the Lord.”
