Jer 32:4-5, 34:3-5, 39:7, 52:11, Eze 12:13, 17:10 | ESV | STEP | Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans , but shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon , and shall speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye .

4 ^aZedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, ^bbut shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye. 5 And ^che shall take Zedekiah to Babylon, and there he shall remain until I visit him, declares the Lord. ^dThough you fight against the Chaldeans, you shall not succeed’?”

Jeremiah 34:3-5

3 ^eYou shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. ^fYou shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’ 4 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah king of Judah! ^gThus says the Lord concerning you: ^h‘You shall not die by the sword. 5 You shall die in peace. ⁱAnd as spices were burned for your fathers, the former kings who were before you, so people shall ^jburn spices for you ^kand lament for you, saying, “Alas, lord!”’ For I have spoken the word, declares the Lord.”

Jeremiah 39:7

7 ^lHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 52:11

11 ^mHe put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in chains, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison ⁿtill the day of his death.

Ezekiel 12:13

13 ^oAnd I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And ^pI will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, ^qyet he shall not see it, and he shall die there.

Ezekiel 17:10

10 Behold, it is planted; will it thrive? ^rWill it not utterly wither when the east wind strikes it—wither away on the bed where it sprouted?”
