11 athe voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring bthank offerings to the house of the Lord:

c“‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts,
for the Lord is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!’

Rejoicing in Heaven

1After this I heard gwhat seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out,

Hallelujah!
hSalvation and glory and power belong to our God,
2for ihis judgments are true and just;
for he has judged jthe great prostitute
who corrupted the earth with her immorality,
and khas avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

3Once more they cried out,

Hallelujah!
mThe smoke from her goes up forever and ever.”
4And nthe twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” 5And from the throne came a voice saying,

oPraise our God,
all you his servants,
pyou who fear him,
small and great.”

6Then I heard what seemed to be qthe voice of a great multitude, like rthe roar of many waters and slike the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
the Almighty treigns.
7Let us rejoice and exult
and give him the glory,
for uthe marriage of the Lamb has come,
and vhis Bride has made herself ready;
