10Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, aleft in the land of Judah some of the poor people who owned nothing, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.

7 bWhen all the captains of the forces in the open country and their men heard that cthe king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land and had committed to him men, women, and children, those of dthe poorest of the land who had not been taken into exile to Babylon,

Ezekiel 5:3-4

3 eAnd you shall take from these a small number and bind them in the skirts of your robe. 4 fAnd of these again you shall take some and cast them into the midst of the fire and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will come out into all the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 33:27
