Jeremiah 4:30

30And you, O desolate one,
what do you mean that you dress in scarlet,
athat you adorn yourself with ornaments of gold,
bthat you enlarge your eyes with paint?
In vain you beautify yourself.
cYour lovers despise you;
they seek your life.

Jeremiah 22:20-22

20 “Go up to Lebanon, and cry out,
and lift up your voice in Bashan;
cry out from dAbarim,
for all eyour lovers are destroyed.
21I spoke to you in your prosperity,
but you said, ‘I will not listen.’
fThis has been your way from gyour youth,
