Jeremiah 4:31

31For I heard aa cry as of a woman in labor,
anguish as of one giving birth to her first child,
the cry of the daughter of Zion gasping for breath,
bstretching out her hands,
Woe is me! I am fainting before murderers.”

Jeremiah 9:17-21

17 Thus says the Lord of hosts:
cConsider, and call for the mourning women to come;
send for the skillful women to come;
18let them make haste dand raise a wailing over us,
ethat our eyes may run down with tears
and our eyelids flow with water.
19For a sound of wailing is heard from Zion:
fHow we are ruined!
We are utterly shamed,
because we have left the land,
because they have cast down our dwellings.’”
20 Hear, O women, the word of the Lord,
and let your ear receive the word of his mouth;
teach to your daughters a lament,
and each to her neighbor a dirge.
21For death has come up into our windows;
it has entered our palaces,
gcutting off the children from the streets
and the young men from the squares.

Ezekiel 2:10

10And he spread it before me. And it had writing hon the front and on the back, and there were written on it words of lamentation and mourning and woe.

Revelation of John 8:13

13Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, iWoe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”
