Jeremiah 4:7
7 aA lion has gone up from his thicket,a destroyer of nations has set out;
he has gone out from his place
to make your land a waste;
your cities will be ruins

No One Knows That Day or Hour
32“But concerning that day or that hour, rno one knows, not even the angels in heaven, snor the Son, tbut only the Father. 33 uBe on guard, vkeep awake. ▼▼Some manuscripts add and pray
For you do not know when the time will come. 34 xIt is like a man ygoing on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants ▼▼Greek bondservants
in charge, aaeach with his work, and commands abthe doorkeeper to stay awake. 35 acTherefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, adin the evening, or aeat midnight, or afwhen the rooster crows, ▼▼That is, the third watch of the night, between midnight and 3 a.m.
or ahin the morning— 36lest aihe come suddenly and ajfind you asleep. 37And what I say to you I say to all: akStay awake.” Luke 21:34-36
Watch Yourselves
34“But watch yourselves allest amyour hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and ancares of this life, and aothat day come upon you suddenly aplike a trap. 35For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36But aqstay awake at all times, arpraying that you may ashave strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and atto stand before the Son of Man.”
