16 “As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, ^awe will not listen to you. 17 ^bBut we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to ^cthe queen of heaven ^dand pour out drink offerings to her, ^eas we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster. 18 But since we left off making offerings to ^fthe queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything ^gand have been consumed by the sword and by famine.”

Ezekiel 3:20

20 ^hAgain, if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and commits injustice, ⁱand I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. ^jBecause you have not warned him, he shall die for his sin, ^kand his righteous deeds that he has done shall not be remembered, ^lbut his blood I will require at your hand.

Ezekiel 7:19

19 They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. ^mTheir silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. ⁿFor it was ^othe stumbling block of their iniquity.

Ezekiel 44:12

12 Because they ministered to them before their idols and became ^pa stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel, therefore I have ^qsworn concerning them, declares the Lord God, and they shall bear their punishment.

Zephaniah 1:3

3 “I will sweep away ^rman and beast;
I will sweep away the birds of the heavens
and ^sthe fish of the sea,
and ^tthe rubble ^{▼▼Or stumbling blocks (that is, idols)} with the wicked.
I will ^vcut off mankind
from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

1 Peter 2:8

^w“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, ^xas they were destined to do.

Revelation of John 2:14

14 But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of ^yBalaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, so that they might ^zeat food sacrificed to idols and ^aapractice sexual immorality.
