16 He made many stumble, ^aand they fell,
and they said one to another,
‘Arise, and let us go back to our own people
and to the land of our birth,
^bbecause of the sword of the oppressor.’

16 Cut off from Babylon the sower,
and the one who handles the sickle in time of harvest;
