7 “Who is this, ^arising like the Nile,
like rivers ^bwhose waters surge?
8 Egypt rises like the Nile,
like rivers ^cwhose waters surge.
He said, ‘I will rise, I will cover the earth,
I will destroy cities and their inhabitants.’
