3 At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his stallions,
^aat the rushing of his chariots, at the rumbling of their wheels,
the fathers ^blook not back to their children,
so feeble are their hands,
4 because of the day that is coming to destroy
all ^cthe Philistines,
to cut off from ^dTyre and Sidon
every helper that remains.
For the Lord is destroying the Philistines,
^ethe remnant of the coastland of ^fCaphtor.

Ezekiel 26:3-6

3 therefore thus says the Lord God: ^gBehold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will bring up ^hmany nations against you, ⁱas the sea brings up its waves. 4 They shall destroy the walls of Tyre and break down her towers, and I will scrape her soil from her and ^jmake her a bare rock. 5 She ^kshall be in the midst of the sea a place for the spreading of nets, ^lfor I have spoken, declares the Lord God. And she shall become plunder for the nations, 6 and her daughters on the mainland shall be killed by the sword. ^mThen they will know that I am the Lord.

Hosea 9:11-14

11 Ephraim’s ⁿglory shall fly away like a bird—

I will bereave them till none is left.
