Jeremiah 48:11

11 Moab has been at ease from his youth
and has asettled on his dregs;
he has not been emptied from vessel to vessel,
nor has he gone into exile;
so his taste remains in him,
and his scent is not changed.

Jeremiah 48:29

29 bWe have heard of the pride of Moab
he is very proud
of his loftiness, his pride, and his arrogance,
and the haughtiness of his heart.

Ezekiel 28:2-5

2 cSon of man, say to dthe prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord God:

I sit in the seat of the gods,
in the heart of the seas,’

no secret is hidden from you;
4by your wisdom and your understanding
lyou have made wealth for yourself,
and have gathered gold and silver
into your treasuries;
5by your great wisdom in your trade
you have increased your wealth,
and myour heart has become proud in your wealth

Daniel 4:30
