Jeremiah 48:26-27

26 a“Make him drunk, bbecause he magnified himself against the Lord, so that Moab shall cwallow in his vomit, dand he too shall be held in derision. 27 eWas not Israel a derision to you? fWas he found among thieves, that whenever you spoke of him gyou wagged your head?

Jeremiah 50:9-17

9For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon ha gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be taken. 11 jThough you rejoice, though you exult,
O plunderers of my heritage,
though you frolic like a heifer in the pasture,
and neigh like stallions,
12your mother shall be utterly shamed,
and she who bore you shall be disgraced.
Behold, she shall be the last of the nations,
ka wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
13 lBecause of the wrath of the Lord she shall not be inhabited
but shall be an utter desolation;
meveryone who passes by Babylon shall be appalled,
nand hiss because of all her wounds.
14 oSet yourselves in array against Babylon all around,
pall you who bend the bow;
shoot at her, spare no arrows,
qfor she has sinned against the Lord.
15 rRaise a shout against her all around;
she has surrendered;
her bulwarks have fallen;
sher walls are thrown down.
For tthis is the vengeance of the Lord:
take vengeance on her;
udo to her as she has done.
16Cut off from Babylon the sower,
and the one who handles the sickle in time of harvest;
vbecause of the sword of the oppressor,
wevery one shall turn to his own people,
and every one shall flee to his own land.
17 xIsrael is a hunted sheep ydriven away by lions. zFirst the king of Assyria aadevoured him, and now at last abNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon achas gnawed his bones.

Jeremiah 51:33-35

33For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:
adThe daughter of Babylon is like aea threshing floor
at the time when it is trodden;
yet a little while
and afthe time of her harvest will come.”
34 Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon aghas devoured me;
he has crushed me;
he has made me an empty vessel;
ahhe has swallowed me like aia monster;
he has filled his stomach with my delicacies;
he has rinsed me out.
Or  he has expelled me

35The violence done to me and to my kinsmen be upon Babylon,”

and for four, ccI will not revoke the punishment,
Hebrew  I will not turn it back; also verses 6, 9, 11, 13
