and have said, ‘He will do nothing;
^ano disaster will come upon us,
^bnor shall we see sword or famine.

Jeremiah 44:17

17 ^cBut we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to ^dthe queen of heaven ^eand pour out drink offerings to her, ^fas we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem.
