Jeremiah 5:12-14

12They have spoken falsely of the Lord
and have said, ‘He will do nothing;
ano disaster will come upon us,
bnor shall we see sword or famine.
13The prophets will become wind;
the word is not in them.
Thus shall it be done to them!’”

The Lord Proclaims Judgment

14 Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of hosts:
“Because you have spoken this word,
behold, cI am making my words in your mouth da fire,
and this people wood, and the fire shall consume them.

Jeremiah 44:28

28 eAnd those who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, ffew in number; and all the remnant of Judah, who came to the land of Egypt to live, gshall know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.

Ezekiel 6:7

7And the slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 14:22-23

22But behold, hsome survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out; behold, when they come out to you, and iyou see their ways and their deeds, you will be consoled for the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, for all that I have brought upon it. 23They will console you, when you see their ways and their deeds, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, declares the Lord God.”

Daniel 9:12

12He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against jour rulers who ruled us,
Or  our judges who judged us
by lbringing upon us a great calamity. mFor under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what has been done against Jerusalem.

Zechariah 1:6

6 nBut my words and my statutes, which I commanded omy servants the prophets, did they not povertake your fathers? So they repented and said, q‘As the Lord of hosts purposed to deal with us for rour ways and sdeeds, so has he dealt with us.’”
