Jeremiah 5:14

The Lord Proclaims Judgment

14 Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of hosts:
“Because you have spoken this word,
behold, aI am making my words in your mouth ba fire,
and this people wood, and the fire shall consume them.

Jeremiah 19:11-12

11and shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: So will I break this people and this city, cas one breaks a potter’s vessel, dso that it can never be mended. eMen shall bury in Topheth because there will be no place else to bury. 12Thus will I do to this place, declares the Lord, and to its inhabitants, making this city flike Topheth.

Jeremiah 21:7-10

7Afterward, declares the Lord, gI will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his servants and the people in this city who survive the pestilence, sword, and famine into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, into the hand of those who seek their lives. He shall strike them down with the edge of the sword. hHe shall not pity them or spare them or have compassion.’

8“And to this people you shall say: iThus says the Lord: Behold, jI set before you the way of life and the way of death. 9He who stays in this city shall die kby the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, but he who goes out and lsurrenders to the Chaldeans who are besieging you shall live mand shall have his life as a prize of war. 10For nI have set my face against this city for harm and onot for good, declares the Lord: pit shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.’

Jeremiah 24:8-10

8But thus says the Lord: Like qthe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat rZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who sdwell in the land of Egypt. 9I will make them ta horror

to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be va reproach, wa byword, xa taunt, and ya curse in all the places where I shall drive them.
10And I will send zsword, famine, and pestilence upon them, until they shall be utterly destroyed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.”

Jeremiah 26:15

15Only know for certain that if you put me to death, aayou will bring innocent blood upon yourselves and upon this city and its inhabitants, for in truth the Lord sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.”

Jeremiah 26:18

18Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and said to all the people of Judah: ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts,

ab“‘Zion shall be plowed as a field;
Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins,
and the mountain of the house a wooded height.’

Jeremiah 26:20

20There was another man who prophesied in the name of the Lord, Uriah the son of Shemaiah from acKiriath-jearim. He prophesied against this city and against this land in words like those of Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 32:28-29

28Therefore, thus says the Lord: adBehold, I am giving this city into the hands of the Chaldeans and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall capture it. 29The Chaldeans who are fighting against this city aeshall come and set this city on fire and burn it, afwith the houses on whose roofs offerings have been made to Baal agand drink offerings have been poured out to other gods, ahto provoke me to anger.

Jeremiah 34:2-3

2“Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Go and speak to aiZedekiah king of Judah and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: ajBehold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire. 3 akYou shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. alYou shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’

Jeremiah 34:22

22Behold, amI will command, declares the Lord, and will anbring them back to this city. aoAnd they will fight against it and take it and burn it with fire. apI will make the cities of Judah a desolation aqwithout inhabitant.”
