Matthew 13:13-15

13This is why I speak to them in parables, because kseeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, lnor do they understand. 14Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:

m“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
15For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears nthey can barely hear,
and otheir eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and punderstand with their heart
and qturn, and I would heal them.’

John 9:39-41

39Jesus said, rFor judgment I came into this world, sthat those who do not see may see, and tthose who see may become blind.” 40Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, uAre we also blind?” 41Jesus said to them, If you were blind, vyou would have no guilt;
Greek  you would not have sin
but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.

John 12:40

40 x“He has blinded their eyes
and yhardened their heart,
lest they see with their eyes,
and understand with their heart, and turn,
and I would heal them.”
