Jeremiah 5:31

31 athe prophets prophesy falsely,
and the priests rule at their direction;
bmy people love to have it so,
but what will you do when the end comes?

Jeremiah 6:13-15

13 cFor from the least to the greatest of them,
everyone dis greedy for unjust gain;
and from eprophet to priest,
everyone deals falsely.
14They have healed the wound of my people lightly,
saying, fPeace, peace,’
gwhen there is no peace.
15 hWere they ashamed when they committed abomination?
No, they were not at all ashamed;
they did not know how to blush.
Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
iat the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,”

says the Lord.

Jeremiah 8:10-11

10 jTherefore I will give their wives to others
and their fields to conquerors,
because from the least to the greatest

Jeremiah 14:14-15

14And the Lord said to me: “The mprophets are prophesying lies in my name. nI did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, oworthless divination, and pthe deceit of their own minds. 15Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although qI did not send them, and who say, rSword and famine shall not come upon this land’: sBy sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.

Jeremiah 20:4

4For thus says the Lord: Behold, I will make you ta terror to yourself and to all your friends. They shall fall by the sword of their enemies while you look on. And I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon. He shall carry them captive to Babylon, and shall strike them down with the sword.

Jeremiah 23:14-17

14But in the prophets of Jerusalem
I have seen a horrible thing:
uthey commit adultery and walk in lies;
vthey strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his evil;
wall of them have become like Sodom to me,
xand its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”
15Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:
yBehold, I will feed them with bitter food
zand give them aapoisoned water to drink,
for from the prophets of Jerusalem
ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”
16Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, abfilling you with vain hopes. acThey speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord. 17They say continually to those who despise the word of the Lord, ad‘It shall be well with you’; and to everyone who aestubbornly follows his own heart, they say, afNo disaster shall come upon you.’”

Jeremiah 23:25-26

25I have heard what the prophets have said agwho prophesy lies in my name, saying, ah‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’ 26How long shall there be lies in the heart of aithe prophets who prophesy lies, and who prophesy the deceit of their own heart,

Jeremiah 23:32

32Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the Lord, and who tell them and ajlead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when akI did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the Lord.
