38 ^aA drought against her waters,
that they may be dried up!
^bFor it is a land of images,
and they are mad over idols.

36 Therefore thus says the Lord:
“Behold, ^cI will plead your cause
and take vengeance for you.
^dI will dry up her sea
and ^emake her fountain dry,
