Jeremiah 50:4-6

4 a“In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, bthe people of Israel and the people of Judah shall come together, cweeping as they come, and they dshall seek the Lord their God. 5 eThey shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, fsaying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an geverlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.’

6 h“My people have been lost sheep. iTheir shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. They have forgotten their fold.

Ezekiel 34:11-16

The Lord God Will Seek Them Out

11For thus says the Lord God: jBehold, I, I kmyself will search for my sheep and will seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on la day of clouds and mthick darkness. 13And I will bring them out from the peoples nand gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. And I will feed them on othe mountains of Israel, by the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 pI will feed them with good pasture, and on the mountain heights of Israel shall be their grazing land. qThere they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on rich pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel. 15 rI myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, sand I myself will make them lie down, declares the Lord God. 16 tI will seek the lost, uand I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and vthe fat and the strong I will destroy.
Septuagint, Syriac, Vulgate  I will watch over
I will feed them in justice.
