Jeremiah 50:4-8

4 a“In those days and in that time, declares the Lord, bthe people of Israel and the people of Judah shall come together, cweeping as they come, and they dshall seek the Lord their God. 5 eThey shall ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, fsaying, ‘Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an geverlasting covenant that will never be forgotten.’

6 h“My people have been lost sheep. iTheir shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. They have forgotten their fold. 7All who found them have devoured them, jand their enemies have said, ‘We are not guilty, for kthey have sinned against the Lord, ltheir habitation of righteousness, the Lord, mthe hope of their fathers.’

8 nFlee from the midst of Babylon, oand go out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as male goats before the flock.
