7 Babylon was ^aa golden cup in the Lord’s hand,
^bmaking all the earth drunken;
^cthe nations drank of her wine;
therefore the nations went mad.
8 ^dSuddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken;
^ewail for her!
^fTake balm for her pain;
perhaps she may be healed.
