Jeremiah 51:8-9

8 ^aSuddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken;
^bwail for her!
^cTake balm for her pain;
perhaps she may be healed.
9 We would have healed Babylon,
but she was not healed.
^dForsake her, and ^elet us go
each to his own country,
for ^fher judgment has reached up to heaven
and has been lifted up even to the skies.

Revelation of John 18:8

8 For this reason her plagues will come ^gin a single day,
death and mourning and famine,
and ^hshe will be burned up with fire;
for ⁱmighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”
