Jeremiah 6:13-15

13 aFor from the least to the greatest of them,
everyone bis greedy for unjust gain;
and from cprophet to priest,
everyone deals falsely.
14They have healed the wound of my people lightly,
saying, dPeace, peace,’
ewhen there is no peace.
15 fWere they ashamed when they committed abomination?
No, they were not at all ashamed;
they did not know how to blush.
Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
gat the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,”

says the Lord.

Jeremiah 8:10-12

10 hTherefore I will give their wives to others
and their fields to conquerors,
because from the least to the greatest

Jeremiah 14:15-16

15Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although mI did not send them, and who say, nSword and famine shall not come upon this land’: oBy sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. 16And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and sword, pwith none to bury themthem, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. For I will pour out their evil upon them.

Jeremiah 20:6

6And you, qPashhur, and all who dwell in your house, shall go into captivity. To Babylon you shall go, and there you shall die, and there you shall be buried, you and all your friends, rto whom you have prophesied falsely.”

Jeremiah 23:15

15Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:
sBehold, I will feed them with bitter food
tand give them upoisoned water to drink,
for from the prophets of Jerusalem
ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”

Jeremiah 28:16-17

16Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will remove you from the face of the earth. This year you shall die, vbecause you have uttered rebellion against the Lord.’”

17In that same year, in the seventh month, the prophet Hananiah died.

Jeremiah 29:22-23

22 wBecause of them xthis curse shall be used by all the exiles from Judah in Babylon: “The Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, ywhom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire,” 23because they have done an outrageous thing in Israel, zthey have committed adultery with their neighborswives, and aathey have spoken in my name lying words that I did not command them. abI am the one who knows, acand I am witness, declares the Lord.’”

Jeremiah 29:31-32

31Send to all the exiles, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord concerning adShemaiah of Nehelam: Because aeShemaiah had prophesied to you afwhen I did not send him, and has made you trust in a lie, 32therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, I will punish agShemaiah of Nehelam and his descendants. He shall not have anyone living among this people, ahand he shall not see the good that I will do to my people, declares the Lord, aifor he has spoken rebellion against the Lord.’”
