Jeremiah 11:8-10

9 Again the Lord said to me, ^l“A conspiracy exists among the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 10 They have turned back to ^mthe iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words. ⁿThey have gone after other gods to serve them. ^oThe house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant that I made with their fathers.

Jeremiah 13:10-11

10 This evil people, who refuse to hear my words, ^pwho stubbornly follow their own heart and have gone after other gods to serve them and worship them, shall be like this loincloth, which is ^qgood for nothing. 11 For as the loincloth clings to the waist of a man, so I made the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah cling to me, declares the Lord, ^rthat they might be for me a people, ^sa name, a praise, and a glory, but they would not listen.

Jeremiah 16:12

12 and because ^tyou have done worse than your fathers, for behold, ^uevery one of you follows his stubborn, evil will, refusing to listen to me.
