Jeremiah 8:1-3
1“At that time, declares the Lord, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs. 2And they shall be spread abefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. bAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. cThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground. 3 dDeath shall be preferred to life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family ein all the places where I have driven them, declares the Lord of hosts.Ezekiel 6:3-6
3and say, fYou mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to gthe mountains and hthe hills, to ithe ravines and the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, jand I will destroy your high places. 4 kYour altars shall become desolate, and your lincense altars shall be broken, and I will cast down your slain before your idols. 5 mAnd I will lay the dead bodies of the people of Israel before their idols, nand I will scatter your bones around your altars. 6Wherever you dwell, othe cities shall be waste and pthe high places ruined, so that your altars will be waste and ruined, ▼▼Or and punished
your idols broken and destroyed, your rincense altars cut down, and your works wiped out. Ezekiel 6:13
13And you shall know that I am the Lord, swhen their slain lie among their idols around their altars, ton every high hill, uon all the mountaintops, vunder every green tree, and under wevery leafy oak, wherever xthey offered pleasing aroma to all their idols.
