Jeremiah 8:2
2And they shall be spread abefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. bAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. cThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.Jeremiah 19:13
13The houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah— dall the houses on whose eroofs offerings have been offered fto all the host of heaven, and gdrink offerings have been poured out to other gods—shall be defiled hlike the place of Topheth.’”Jeremiah 44:17-18
17 iBut we will do everything that we have vowed, make offerings to jthe queen of heaven kand pour out drink offerings to her, las we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our officials, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and prospered, and saw no disaster. 18But since we left off making offerings to mthe queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything nand have been consumed by the sword and by famine.”Jeremiah 44:25
25Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: oYou and your wives have declared with your mouths, and have fulfilled it with your hands, saying, ‘We will surely perform our vows that we have made, pto make offerings to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings to her.’ Then confirm your vows and perform your vows!Jeremiah 44:29
29This shall be the sign to you, declares the Lord, that I will punish you in this place, in order that you may know that qmy words will surely stand against you for harm:
