Job 1:10-19

10Have you not put aa hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have bblessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11But cstretch out your hand and dtouch all that he has, and he will ecurse you fto your face.” 12And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Satan Takes Job’s Property and Children

13Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 14and there came a messenger to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, 15and gthe Sabeans fell upon them and took them and struck down the servants
Hebrew  the young men; also verses 16, 17
with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”
16While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, i“The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” 17While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, j“The Chaldeans formed kthree groups and made a raid on the camels and took them and struck down the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” 18While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, l“Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, 19and behold, a great wind came across mthe wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”

Job 2:7

7So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and struck Job with loathsome nsores from othe sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

Matthew 8:31-32

31And the demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs.” 32And he said to them, Go.” So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.

Mark 5:4-5

4for he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he wrenched the chains apart, and he broke the shackles in pieces. No one had the strength to subdue him. 5Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones.
