11But astretch out your hand and btouch all that he has, and he will ccurse you dto your face.”

Job 2:5

5But estretch out your hand and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will fcurse you to your face.”

Job 22:5-30

5Is not your evil abundant?
There is no end to your iniquities.
6For you have gexacted pledges of your brothers for nothing
hand stripped the naked of their clothing.
7You have given no water to the weary to drink,
and you have iwithheld bread from the hungry.
8 jThe man with power possessed the land,
and kthe favored man lived in it.
9You have lsent widows away empty,
and mthe arms of nthe fatherless were crushed.
10Therefore osnares are all around you,
and sudden terror overwhelms you,
11or pdarkness, so that you cannot see,
and a qflood of rwater covers you.
12 “Is not God high in the heavens?
See sthe highest stars, how lofty they are!
13But you say, tWhat does God know?
Can he judge through uthe deep darkness?
14 vThick clouds veil him, so that he does not see,
and he walks on the vault of heaven.’
15Will you keep to the old way
that wicked men have trod?
16They were snatched away wbefore their time;
their foundation was washed away.
17They said to God, xDepart from us,’
and yWhat can the Almighty do to us?’
Hebrew them

18Yet he filled their houses with good things
but aathe counsel of the wicked is far from me.
19 abThe righteous see it and are glad;
the innocent one acmocks at them,
20saying, ‘Surely our adversaries are cut off,
and what they left adthe fire has consumed.’
21 aeAgree with God, and afbe at peace;
thereby good will come to you.
22Receive instruction from aghis mouth,
and ahlay up his words in your heart.
23If you aireturn to the Almighty you will be ajbuilt up;
if you akremove injustice far from your tents,
24if you lay gold in althe dust,
and gold of amOphir among the stones of the torrent-bed,
25then the Almighty will be your gold
and your precious silver.
26For then you anwill delight yourself in the Almighty
and aolift up your face to God.
27You will apmake your prayer to him, and he will hear you,
and you will aqpay your vows.
28You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you,
and arlight will shine on your ways.
29For when they are humbled you say, ‘It is because of pride’;
Or  you say, ‘It is exaltation’

but he saves atthe lowly.
30He audelivers even the one who is not innocent,
who will be delivered through avthe cleanness of your hands.”

Who will contend with me?
Let us stand up together.
Who is my adversary?
Let him come near to me.

standing at his right hand to accuse him.
2And the Lord said to Satan, be“The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has bfchosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this bga brand
That is,  a burning stick
plucked from the fire?”
3Now biJoshua was standing before the angel, bjclothed with filthy garments. 4And the angel said to bkthose who were standing before him, blRemove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, bmI have taken your iniquity away from you, and bnI will clothe you with pure vestments.”
