Job 1:2-5

2There were born to him aseven sons and three daughters. 3He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys, and very many servants, so that this man was the greatest of all bthe people of the east. 4His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and cconsecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and doffer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my children have sinned, and ecursed
The Hebrew word bless is used euphemistically for curse in 1:5, 11; 2:5, 9
God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.

Job 42:13-16

13He had also gseven sons and three daughters. 14And he called the name of the first daughter Jemimah, and the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-happuch. 15And in all the land there were no women so beautiful as Job’s daughters. And their father gave them an inheritance hamong their brothers. 16And after this Job lived 140 years, and isaw his sons, and his sonssons, four generations.

Psalms 127:3-5

3 Behold, jchildren are a heritage from the Lord,
kthe fruit of the womb a reward.
4Like arrows in the hand of la warrior
are the children
Or sons
of one’s youth.
5Blessed is the man
who fills his quiver with them!
He shall not be put to shame
when he speaks with his enemies nin the gate.
Or They shall not be put to shame when they speak with their enemies in the gate

Psalms 128:3

3 Your wife will be like pa fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like qolive shoots
around your table.

Proverbs 17:6

6 rGrandchildren are sthe crown of the aged,
and the glory of children is their fathers.
