Job 1:9-11

9Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason? 10Have you not put aa hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have bblessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11But cstretch out your hand and dtouch all that he has, and he will ecurse you fto your face.”

Isaiah 56:11-12

11 gThe dogs have a mighty appetite;
they never have enough.
But hthey are shepherds who have no understanding;
they have all turned to their own way,
ieach to his own gain, one and all.
12 jCome,” they say, “let me get wine;
let us fill ourselves with strong drink;
kand tomorrow will be like this day,
great beyond measure.”

Jeremiah 6:13

Micah 3:11

11 qIts heads give judgment for a bribe;
rits priests teach for a price;
sits prophets practice divination for money;
tyet they lean on the Lord and usay,
“Is not the Lord in the midst of us?
vNo disaster shall come upon us.”

John 10:12

12He who is wa hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and xleaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and yscatters them.
