reach old age, and grow mighty in power?
8Their eoffspring are established in their presence,
and their descendants before their eyes.
9Their houses are fsafe from fear,
and gno rod of God is upon them.
10Their bull breeds without fail;
their cow calves and hdoes not miscarry.
11They send out their ilittle boys like a flock,
and their children dance.
12They sing to jthe tambourine and kthe lyre
and rejoice to the sound of lthe pipe.
13They mspend their days in prosperity,
and in npeace they go down to oSheol.
14They say to God, pDepart from us!
We do not desire the knowledge of your ways.
15 qWhat is the Almighty, that we should serve him?
And what rprofit do we get if we pray to him?’

Job 22:18

18Yet he filled their houses with good things
but sthe counsel of the wicked is far from me.
