Job Continues: Death Comes Soon to All

1 “Man who is ^aborn of a woman
is ^bfew of days and ^cfull of trouble.
2 He comes out like ^da flower and ^ewithers;
he flees like ^fa shadow and continues not.
3 And do you ^gopen your eyes on such a one
and ^hbring me into judgment with you?

Isaiah 28:1

Judgment on Ephraim and Jerusalem

1 Ah, the proud crown of ⁱthe drunkards of Ephraim,
and the fading flower of its glorious beauty,
which is on the head of the rich valley of those overcome with wine!

4 ^jand the fading flower of its glorious beauty,

will be like ^ka first-ripe fig before the summer:
when someone sees it, he swallows it
