Job 19:13-19

13 “He has put my abrothers far from me,
and bthose who knew me are wholly estranged from me.
14My relatives chave failed me,
my close dfriends have forgotten me.
15The guests ein my house and my maidservants count me as a stranger;
I have become a foreigner in their eyes.
16I call to my servant, but he gives me no answer;
I must plead with him with my mouth for mercy.
17My breath is strange to my fwife,
and I am a stench to the children of gmy own mother.
18Even young hchildren despise me;
when I rise they talk against me.
19All my iintimate friends abhor me,
and those whom I loved have turned against me.

Jeremiah 2:28

28But jwhere are your gods
that you made for yourself?
Let them arise, kif they can save you,
in your time of trouble;
for las many as your cities
are your gods, O Judah.

Jeremiah 30:14

14 mAll your lovers have forgotten you;
they care nothing for you;
for I have dealt you the blow of nan enemy,
the punishment oof a merciless foe,
because your guilt is great,
pbecause your sins are flagrant.

Jeremiah 37:7-9

7Thus says the Lord, God of Israel: Thus shall you say to the king of Judah who qsent you to me to inquire of me, ‘Behold, rPharaoh’s army that came to help you is about to sreturn to Egypt, to its own land. 8And tthe Chaldeans shall come back and fight against this city. uThey shall capture it and burn it with fire. 9Thus says the Lord, Do not deceive yourselves, saying, “The Chaldeans will surely go away from us,” for they will not go away.

Lamentations 1:2

2 vShe weeps bitterly in the night,
with tears on her cheeks;
wamong all her lovers
she has xnone to comfort her;
yall her friends have dealt treacherously with her;
they have become her enemies.

Lamentations 4:17

17 zOur eyes failed, ever watching
aavainly for help;
in our watching we watched
