Job 20:19-23

19For he has crushed and abandoned the poor;
he has seized a house that he did not build.
20 Because he aknew no bcontentment in his belly,
che will not let anything in which he delights escape him.
21There was nothing left after he had eaten;
therefore his prosperity will not endure.
22In the fullness of his sufficiency he will be in distress;
the hand of everyone in misery will come against him.
23To fill his belly to the full,
God
Hebrew he
will send his burning anger against him
and rain it upon him einto his body.

Psalms 37:16

22 gThe blessing of the Lord makes rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it.
Or  and toil adds nothing to it

Ecclesiastes 5:10-14

10He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity. 11When goods increase, they increase who eat them, and what advantage has their owner but to see them with his eyes? 12Sweet is the sleep of a laborer, whether he eats little or much, but the full stomach of the rich will not let him sleep.

13 lThere is a grievous evil that I have seen under the sun: riches were kept by their owner to his hurt, 14and those riches were lost in a bad venture. And he is father of a son, but he has nothing in his hand.

James 5:1-3
